---Chloe was my cat, until I had the stroke, June 2, 2002. Though, technically my cat, she now lives with Marceline R. I supplied the catfood for her, and she supplied the hairballs. I was not ever quite sure if her affection, was all about the food.

---Whatever the case, Chloe and I had a good time (I'm assuming, here, as I never asked her how she felt about the arrangement.) The bites, scratches and emotional scars, have more or less, healed. At least, she hasn't brought them up in awhile.

---Chloe has three blogs of her own. Typical is NOT a word I would use, describing her. She is very intuitive, for a feline. (I do realize that every CAT owner would, probably, say the same thing.)

---I had a very goodtime reading this book. It is a ''Westerners'' version of the seven chakras. I thought it was easy to read and very practical. This book was originally lent to me by friend, John C. I owned it a few different times, after.

METAPHYSICAL BOOKCLUB - BOB JOHNSON

---Bob Johnson had been a CARTHUSIAN Monk for 11 years. He lived in the French Alps. He had taken a vow of silence, so had spoken very little.
---Through his meditations, he decided to leave the Monastic life, behind. He came to Massachusetts, married and had 3 children.
---He and his family, bought a small piece-of-property, that had a barn near the house. He converted the barn into The AWARENESS CENTER. Many area people ended up there, to share in what Bob Johnson had brought back with him. They were in search of a certain knowledge and experience, that he had.

---I visited there, myself, in the late 1970's. Bob was someone who understood much of my own plight. He could see that I didn't know what to do with my own experience.
---I was, eventually, placed in a metaphysical bookclub, and was asked to lead it. This was a special time for me.
---What would happen is, we would read a Spiritual-type, book, and discuss the meaning of certain questions that would arise during the reading. I very much enjoyed the bookclub, as it was easy to see why I was put in charge. Much of what was confusing to others was very clear and apparent to me. I have been known to say that the bookclub was the most fun I ever had, that didn't involve laughter. This is the bookclub that I alluded to, in the poem, - ''Without Laughing.'' What a wonderful time.

Vacuum Tubes vs. Transistors

---I put forth the comment that I wonder why some musicians favor the vacuum tube to transistors. I was with my friend John T., at the time. I didn't really expect an answer...at least one that seemed right.
---I should have seen this coming, but I was very ''unused,'' to getting any kind of viable response from anyone along these lines. But, then comes John. He had been homeless for a number of years...and who'd a' thought?
---He proceeded to say that the tube makes the player sound more human, while the transistor has a mechanical sound to it. Tubes sound more real than transistors. The explanation may sound very simple, but that's the way I like them, in this arena.
